Certification, Education, and Development Team

Our team, while not its main purpose, provides guidance and the ability to gain Hobby Certifications for High Power Rocketry. UMLRC is a registered club with the National Association of Rocketry, and like most clubs across the US, honors Tripoli Certifications as well. 

We provide certifications at cost to our members and offer many opportunities to have our club cover the cost of High-Power Certifications.

Why have an entire section dedicated to this?

Most colligate clubs tend to grow and fade. The best way to make sure we are always growing is by creating a huge repository of information that new and existing members can learn from. We have tutorials for our simulation software and PowerPoint slide decks on topics like advanced recovery techniques and launch weather forecasting.
