UMass Lowell Rocketry Club (UMLRC) is an undergraduate club open to all students eligible to participate in student activities at UMass Lowell. As an engineering-focused club, we work closely with the Francis College of Engineering and the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. We are one of few aerospace-related clubs at UML, we are currently in the process of getting approved to be a Capstone Design club, providing seniors an opportunity to use the club as a way to finish their undergraduate career.
UMLRC has grown from <10 members to about 30 Active Members working on projects throughout the club in just 2 years.
